The PRAYER WITHOUT CEASING MINISTRY NETWORK began as a result of Bishop Nathaniel Williams’s mother (Mother Mary Lou Nolan) all of a sudden contacting pneumonia and a small bowel obstruction at the age of 87 years old.  Bishop Williams and Sister Odessa Williams his sister had been at the hospital some 20 hours straight and in returning home on a Sunday Morning, July 29^th, 2007 at 8:00 a.m., Bishop Williams was exhausted for this had been a pattern for several days since Wednesday, July 25^th, 2007 when Mother Nolan was first hospitalized.

Since Mother Nolan was 87 and somewhat feeble, doctors had basically given her up on Saturday, July 28^th, 2007 wherein X-rays showed her lungs to be 90% full of fluid and the bowel obstruction forcing the bowel shut due to scar tissue from surgery performed 30 years ago.  One Doctor stated “she’s already having renal failure; another said she’s 87 let her go in dignity.”  Bishop Williams and the Inspired Word Church Family were determined to pray for a MIRACLE in spite of the medical prognosis.   

So Bishop Williams laid down for just a brief moment to rest, 10 minutes later a phone call came in from Bishop Mac Tatum, a great pastor from Memphis, Tennessee , who Bishop Williams had only spoken to twice over the phone in 10 years.  Bishop Williams and Bishop Tatum knew more of each other due to fellow pastors sharing whom they fellowshipped with, rather then actually spending anytime at length in conversation, Bishop Williams and Bishop Tatum had brief encounters in passing at the True Bible Way Convention in Memphis, Tennessee, t he funeral of the Great man of God in the person of Bishop Grady Cooks of Johnston, South Carolina and at the New Born Light House Convention this year in Connecticut.

When Bishop Williams answered the phone, Bishop Tatum told him “God put you strongly on my heart and I had even called you last night.”  Bishop Williams responded, “Bishop Tatum I know why God put me on your heart, I wasn’t home last night, matter of fact for days I’ve been in the hospital around the clock.  My mother needs a MIRACLE.”  After Bishop Williams explained the circumstances, Bishop Tatum told him,” I will have prayer that morning for Mother Nolan during Sunday Worship with my entire congregation.”  When Bishop Williams heard that, unbeknown to Bishop Tatum, the PRAYER WITHOUT CEASING MINISTRY NETWORK was birthed in Bishop Williams mind.  Bishop Williams immediately called other great pastors successfully leaving his prayer request with four of them via their voice mails.  Those pastors called Bishop Williams back that Sunday sharing how they shared the prayer request with their congregation and how prayer had gone forth.  Bishop Williams now convinced that God was using Mother Nolan’s crisis to start a unified prayer between God’s people where bombardment from many locations concerning the same need could be launched into the spirit realm towards our Great God.  Bishop Williams not only wanted this for his Mother, he wanted this to be available to all of God’s people. 

By the way Mother Nolan’s lungs are cleared and the bowel obstruction is gone and God gave the wonderful medical professionals a chance to see what prayer in numbers can do.

 Bishop Williams being blessed to have a computer expert in his congregation in the person of Elder Marcos Archilla, described the vision on the network as follows:

Unity Praying where- in churches and individuals can access to share there prayer request, also share the update/victory report.  To also allow churches the means of printing out the list of requests so copies can be made for the congregations and individuals.  Praying in this matter fosters love for others, unity, concern, understanding of others needs and the ability to share what God is working out for those who may not be in our congregations.  This aids our VICTORY.  Job got restored after he PRAYED FOR OTHERS (His Friends) Job 42:10.
